The Department of I.T. & C.S. organized a Guidance Session on “How to crack CET & CAT” on 13th January, 2016. Resource person for the session was Mr. Ravneet Gandhi, Founder, CET King.
The Department of IT & CS organized a Career Counseling Session on 13th January, 2016 for T.Y.B.Sc.I.T. and T.Y.B.Sc.C.S. students. Mrs. Jayalexmi, H.O.D. of M.C.A. at Sterling Institute of Management Studies, Nerul, guided students about the C.E.T. for M.C.A. Course.
The Department of I.T. and C.S. invited one of its Alumni, Mr. Anmol Srivastav, Sharepoint Administrator at L&T Infotech (Airoli) on 17th December, 2015. He discussed the importance of Campus Placements and critical situation of Jobs in the I.T. Industry. His interesting talks gave a real food for thought to the students and triggered a healthy discussion related to career prospects of young techies.
Prof. Kavita Baddi won Best paper award in National conference on “Tribute to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam” on 24th September, 2015 by Department of B.M.S. and I.T. and C.S. of Pillai College.
Prof. Kavita Baddi authored book on Financial Accounting Paper V and Paper VI of T.Y.B.Com. Accounting and Finance V and VI semester 2015-16.
The Department of I.T. and C.S. in association with the Department of Management Studies organized a National Conference on “A Tribute to Dr. A.P.J. Kalam : India Vision 2020” on 24th September, 2015.
Revision Sessions were conducted for T.Y.B.Sc.(I.T.) students from 21st to 30th September, 2015.
Expert lectures were conducted for T.Y.B.Sc.(I.T.) students in the subject of Asp. Net and Linux.
Our college was felicitated for Outstanding contribution to Industry – Academia partnership by Mr. Rajeev Kumar (Global Head – Campus Hiring @ Wipro)
Industrial Visit was arranged for S.Y.B.Sc.(C.S.) students to Delhi – Agra – Jaipur. Students were given insight into the ways software industry works in Compucomp Software Ltd., Jaipur.
