Rizwan Shaikh has participated/officiated in the All India Shito-Ryu Open Karate Championship organized by Asian Shito-Ryu Sports Karate-Do Association and Belgavi Zilla Karate-Do and Boxing Association of Karnataka (R) held at Indoor Hall, Yadur, Belgavi, Karnataka on 4th and 5th November, 2017. He is awarded Gold Medal in the Kumite event in the Open Category.
