The Placement Cell organized a successful Seminar on 16th November, 2024, exclusively for the TY students of PCACS CS/IT. Mr. Ravindra Malpute, ambassador of AWS, guided the students regarding career. Mr. Malpute graduated from PCACS in the year of 2016.
The seminar was attended by the students of PCACS. It was facilitated by the Placement Cell coordinators along with the student body of TPC-PCACS.
Arrival of the Guest:
The guest, Mr. Ravindra Malpute was welcomed by the students. Seminar started at 11:30 AM in the auditorium.
Session
An interactive session commenced, telling about all the opportunities to students or what they can do to make a career in a particular niche under CS/IT.
1st Topic of the Session (Journey and Career Insights)
Mr. Malpute began by talking about his time in the PCACS. How his growth has started from 2018 and his desire for better opportunities and innovative ideas led him into AWS
and became the AWS ambassador.
2nd Topic of the Session (Find the right carrier)
Mr. Ravindra Malpute emphasized that to become successful we need to focus on which path is good for us, and first we need to choose a right career. He provided insight into all the challenges that are there in the IT sector. He also emphasized the different career options in the IT sector. He highlighted exploring different fields and learning about industry trends, gaining experience, and taking internships of freelance projects.
3rd Topic of the Session (Interview roadmap)
The speaker then emphasized by giving all the ideas about what all to do in any interview starting with the aptitude test, communication (group discussion), technical round
and HR discussion and keeping yourself informative with what is happening in that particular area.
Q&A Session
In the Q&A session, Mr. Ravindra Malpute advised students to be updated with all the latest things and trends that are happening in that particular sector which you are
interested in. He emphasized on the working of TLC, how they trained people based on their requirement or whatever project is running on at that particular time.

The Seminar started at 11:45 AM in the auditorium. Mr. Suhel Yahoo, TPO-PCACS introduced and welcomed guest speaker Mr. Hemant J Parab on stage for enlightening students on the topic, ‘Behaviour Management.’
1st Topic of the Session (Insights into Behaviour Management)
The session began with an introduction to the concept of Behavior Management. Mr. Parab elaborated on the definition and process of behaviour, describing it as a cumulative outcome of three factors:
- Attitudes (Perception)
- Habits (Repetition)
- Beliefs (Programming)
2nd Topic of the Session (Behaviour Mastery)
Mr. Parab emphasized controlling thoughts to change behavior and habits, noting that self-change can influence others. He outlined causes of misbehavior, such as unmet psychological needs and lack of skills, and suggested correcting it by understanding the reasons, communicating respectfully, and reinforcing positive actions. He warned against “cancerous” behaviors like criticizing and comparing, and stressed developing people skills through appreciation, empathy, and positive communication.
3rd Topic of the Session (Activity)
Mr. Parab conducted an interactive exercise where students chanted motivational affirmations, he also engaged students in an activity to enhance their self-awareness and assertiveness using the REBT approach.

During the Q&A session, Mr. Hemant J Parab invited queries from the audience and encouraged students to improve their skills in asking, communicating, and listening.

An interactive session commenced, telling about all the opportunities to students or what they can do to make a career in a particular niche under digital marketing. Students were introduced to the fundamental aspects of digital marketing, its types, concept of content, and an overview of social media platforms. The session also delved into critical concepts such as understanding your audience that includes-user intent, psychology, user interest and behavior. Mr. Rohit Keshari also highlighted the AIDA model, targeting audiences, using hooks, and designing effective calls-to-action (CTAs). This informative session equipped students with insights into the growing field of digital marketing and its applications in today’s digital-first world.

In the Q&A session, Mr. Rohit Keshari advised students to make their own niche and learn their own things in which they are good at. He mentioned how to make a career into
digital marketing by telling students to focus on what is currently happening, what people like, and understand human psychology. He highlighted on two important things:
- People are slaves of numbers, in which he said those
numbers can be manipulative so understand your
niche. - People are lazy, in which he briefly mention about
funnel writing which means getting a right qualified
audience.

Mr. Amarnath began by talking about his time at
Hindustan Unilever, where he worked in various capacities, describing what his role entailed and why he eventually left to pursue his own entrepreneurial goals. His desire for better opportunities and innovative ideas led him to the foundation of Adtej, a company producing health-centric food products. He highlighted one of Adtej’s key products, flaxseed laddoos, rich in Omega-3.
2nd Topic of the Session (Building a Product and Business Strategy)
Mr. Amarnath emphasized that successful products require continuous development. He provided insight into the challenges Adtej faced in perfecting their multigrain laddoo. He also emphasized the value of continuous product refinement, encouraging entrepreneurs to remain committed to innovation and quality improvement as key drivers of long-term

The speaker then turned to Unilever’s origin story, founded by two brothers. He recounted how the brand strategically promoted its product by the trade name “Sunlight” through advertisements on trains in England, which helped them gain recognition. Ms. Muley highlighted the gap between student’s expectations and companies’ needs by asking students about their dream careers and challenging them to consider why a company should choose them. She used an analogy comparing phone choices to companies’ selection criteria, emphasizing the importance of creating value through knowledge, skills, and
