Introduction
The Placement Cell organized a ‘Behaviour Management’ seminar on 24th October, 2024, exclusively for PCACS T.Y students who are registered with TPC.
Attendees
The seminar was attended by the students of PCACS, It was facilitated by the Placement Cell coordinators along with the student body of TPC-PCACS.
Welcome Speech:
The Seminar started at 11:45 a.m. in the auditorium. Mr. Suhel Yahoo, TPO-PCACS introduced and welcomed guest speaker Mr. Hemant J Parab on stage for enlightening students on the topic, ‘Behaviour Management.’
1st Topic of the Session (Insights into Behaviour Management)
The session began with an introduction to the concept of Behavior Management. Mr. Parab elaborated on the definition and process of behaviour, describing it as a cumulative outcome of three factors:
- Attitudes (Perception)
- Habits (Repetition)
- Beliefs (Programming)
2nd Topic of the Session (Behaviour Mastery)
Mr. Parab emphasized controlling thoughts to change behavior and habits, noting that self-change can influence others. He outlined causes of misbehavior, such as unmet psychological needs and lack of skills, and suggested correcting it by understanding the reasons, communicating respectfully, and reinforcing positive actions. He warned against “cancerous” behaviors like criticizing and comparing, and stressed developing people skills through appreciation, empathy, and positive communication.
3rd Topic of the Session (Activity)
Mr. Parab conducted an interactive exercise where students chanted motivational affirmations, he also engaged students in an activity to enhance their self-awareness and assertiveness using the REBT approach.
Q&A Session
During the Q&A session, Mr. Hemant J Parab invited queries from the audience and encouraged students to improve their skills in asking, communicating, and listening.

The session concluded with Mr. Suhel Yahoo thanking him for an engaging and informative session, and presented a goodie bag to the guest speaker as a token of appreciation. The seminar concluded at 1:00 PM.
