An Essay Competition on current issues and presentations on current topics from 18th to 20th December, 2012 invigorated the minds of our budding economists.
Presentations on “Current Economic Issues” was organized for F.Y.B.Com. students to create interest in the subject of economics and to enhance their confidence and presentation skills on 18th, 19th, 20th December, 2012.
A Visit to RBI Monetary Museum on 12th December, 2012.
Organized an event “Economic Panorama” in which students were motivated to delve into their country of choice and present their views on where they visualize it in 2020 in the form of a power point presentation on 21st September, 2012. Participants chose the following countries for discussion: USA, UK, India, China, Brazil, Italy, Sudan, Congo, Somalia, Belarus.
Organized an Event ‘Budding Economist’ on 14th September, 2012 in which students presented the works and contributions of their favourite economists.
Initiative ‘SMILE’ on 3rd September, 2012 at Jeevan Jyothi Charitable Trust, Panvel. SMILE is an initiative to bring happiness in the life of children who are deprived of it. A Donation Drive was carried out in the college. Students donated books, toys, stationery and other things which were donated to Jeevan Jyothi Charitable Trust.
Organized an Expert Lecture on the topic “Financial Planning for Young Investors”, on 19th June, 2012 by Prof. Shashank Dublish, Rajkumar Goyal Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad.
