The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has organized the 28th Road Safety Week from 9th to 15th January, 2017 throughout the country to create awareness among the general public to improve the safety on road. In association with the Ministry, the N.S.S. unit conducted a week long activities to contribute to the cause of road safety. The activities included display of banners, lecture on road safety, poster exhibition, essay writing competition on road safety, Short film on road safety and a street play was also enacted for the same.
