The ‘I Lead India’ initiative of The Times of India with the Navi Mumbai Youth Brigade organized a Clean up Drive at the Vashi mini sea shore on 22nd September, 2013. Students from more than 10 colleges participated in this event. The Waste Disposal Drive which was organized by the Economics Association inspired many students to volunteer for this event. Their efforts to clean up the area were well appreciated by members of the Aam Aadmi Party and the Mayor Mr. Sagar Nayak.
An Essay Writing Competition was held by the Economics Association on 20th September, 2013. On the topic ‘Rupee in Free Fall’.
A Waste Disposal Drive from 17th September to 20th September, 2013 was organised in order to spread awareness among the students about proper ways of disposing garbage and showing the current condition of the streets in India. 50 students from the Economics Association put in their best in this drive.
Creative writing forms a medium to express our thoughts, views to make ourselves heard to others. To encourage this skill among students, Literary Association organised a creative writing competition on 2nd September, 2013. The students were allowed to write in any one of the three languages (English / Hindi / Marathi).

A News Reading Competition was organized on the 31st August, 2013.There were a total of 20 entries
With the help of Sir. J. J. Mahanagar Raktapedhi, Mumbai managed by (State Blood Transfusion Council, Govt. of Maharashtra) and Blood Bank St. George’s Hospital, Mumbai, NSS jointly organised a Blood Donation Camp in college campus on 22nd August, 2013 and we had successfully collected 280 blood bags/bottle.
Management Association conducted “BOOK REVIEW COMPETITION” on 8th August, 2013. 10 students participated in the competition. Winners were awarded with cash price and certificate.
