Department of Bachelor of Commerce had organised a session on yoga on account of International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2017. Tension free and disease free life is possible only by practising yoga regularly. Teachers were trained to do basic asanas. The session was organised in association with Isha Yoga Center. 58 staff members participated in the session. Staff from engineering section also attended the same.
On 17th June, 2017 a Career Counseling Seminar for T.Y. B.Sc.I.T. and T.Y. B.Sc.I.T. C.S. was conducted.

Students of T.Y. B.M.M. and S.Y. B.M.M. had been to All India Radio (AIR) studio as a part of their educational visit on 15th and 16th June, 2017 in good numbers. They were enlightened about various skills required to become a Radio Jockey along with the visit to technical set up of the studio. Students got the chance to interact and clear their queries with RJs, technical staff and also had an enlightening session with Mr. Anand- Senior announcer at AIR. Sir addressed the students and explained about the pitch, tone, voice and ethics of being a media person.
It was an enriching session and the visit was an eye opener for many of the students.
Placement Cell organized a one day Workshop for T.Y students of all streams in 7th floor Auditorium on 10th June, 2017.

“Women Development Cell and Marathi Vangamaya Mandal celebrated “International Women’s day” on 8th March 2017 by felicitating all working women’s in Panvel Railway Station premises as well as all teaching and non-teaching staff member of Pillai college of Arts, Commerce and Science New Panvel. They were felicitated by offering a rose and giving them special batches made by students conveying the message “You Are Special”. 500 working Women were felicitated.”
Staff Welfare Cell of PCACS organised Health Check up Camp for teaching and non teaching staff on 4th March, 2017 in the old canteen area in association with Apollo Hospital, Nerul.
The following check ups were done:

- Dental Screening
- Blood Pressure
- Height Weight BMI
- Lung function test
- free Doctor consultation
129 of total teaching and non teaching staff participated in the above camp.
